If I were you, I'd just CO wash until the perm wears off.

...Then stop processing your hair and swear an oath to treat it like silk. It's so worth it...

Help PLEASE!! I got a perm in May and I hate it! My hair is not quite to my shoulders, and when I went to get it done I asked for a loose perm, but the lady gave me a really tight perm. It is always really frizzy and looks bad. Over the past couple years, I have dyed, permed, and highlighted my hair, and right now my hair is pretty fried. I would like to get my hair relaxed then get it cut a little bit shorter, but my mom says no because she says my hair will over process. I'm only 14, and I've seen what over-processing does to peoples hair. What should I do? Should I cut my hair shorter with the perm and try to work it?
