I have found the best way to grow hair is to of course wait... But you could also get the ends trimmed regularly. I am from the south so down here a lot of people use Horse Shampoo.. Wal-Mart has this Shampoo and Conditioner that is Mane and Tail. I use that and it works good. But if you want realy Horse Shampoo you could go to a vet supply. Doesn't smell that great but it should work. Good Luck...

relaxers are very tricky and can really damage your hair, so I would advise you to go to a beatuy salon...The application procedure that a stylist is taught is almost impossible to duplicate yourself. if you insist on doing it yourself, heres a few pointers: wear gloves,do NOT leave it on for more then the recommended time(Actually, I would take it off a few min, early) or your hair will actually start to disinigrate and turn into mush or will cause severe breakage. If it starts to burn your scalp, water will deactivate it-have a spritz bottle on hand just in case. GET AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE ON YOUR SCALP... stylist are trained to avoid it altogether which will be difficult for you to do... Apply it to about 1/2in. from your ends and in the last few minutes its on-pull it through to the ends---they are more porous and more prone to damage. When its all over your hair, comb it down the way you would wear it(but avoid pulling your hair in the process) and let it sit that way until its time to rinse, if you have it every which way then it is going to relax your hair in that same pattern and cause many troubles for you. Go to Sallys and try to find a relaxer with no lye in it.Lye is very damaging. Also they have different formulas for different hair(colored hair, etc) so I would only recommend that you find the one thats right for you and follow the directions EXACT for your hair type. When you want to touch up regrowth in a few weeks please be sure to ONLY get it on the newly grown in hair, DO NOT overlap where you already had your hair previously relaxed or you will have severe severe breakage(I dont see how you would be able do this on your own head as well)Again--I would advise you to go to a pro...but if you are worried about the cost, Id suggest you go to the closest beauty school in your area and make an appointment, you are usually paying for little more then the product itself, will only need to tip 2 or 3 dollars and most of the time they have very well trained instructors to watch over and give the student guidance. :) let me know how it turns out..If you have any problems, just email me and ill help you out: Sara594@yahoo.com.And also remember--if you have course curly hair, if may just make it poofy and wavy and you may get stuck in a awkward stage somewhere in between what you have now and what your trying to achieve.

Well, I was told once by someone, 'cause I wanted long hair at one point, to trim the ends of your hair so that you won't have split ends but to also have your hair grow faster. I don't need to do that because my hair just naturally grows fast. But, my friends have tried that and they say it worked for them. I hope I helped in any way. Do you have any advice on what kind of technque works best for getting your hair straight and keeping it that way?
Da!n thats sad every since i've on this website i changed from scurl wave control(its not the 360) to murrayz and now I'm satisified with sportin waves. I disagree...Their are sooo many things you can do with long hair... Of course, your going to have to CONDITION CONDITION CONDTION...MY advice would be the take VERY good care of your hair while your growing it out or else when its all grown out, it'll be damaged and the whole process was pointless in the first place. Dont use a lot of heat or bleach it out a lot..>Do everything you can to prevent breakage.
Yo Man. Growing Your hair takes patience. Seriously. I waited Ages and found my hair was really different wen it was long. But long hair also takes much more care. After a while i got bored of it though. I found there was nothing much to do to it once its long. Peace Out.
