You might not be getting enough protein or vitamin B. Tofu is a good low fat source of protein if you don't want to eat meat. Also try eating brewers yeast for vitamin B. But remember, you do need some fat of else your hair will get very dry. Flax seed oil had lots of fatty acids that are good for your hair. You might try that.
