Hi Karen,The products I was using in my hair before trying Nick Chavez were, Systeme Biolage Hydrating Shampoo and the Detangling Solution. They were also very nice. The first time I washed my hair with Nick Chavez Carifier it was a big difference in softness, I think I just needed that. His moisturizing shampoo... well I am finding that I liked the Biolage better, that's just my opinion though. What is the difference between Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate and sodium lareuth sulfate? Hi,Thanks so much for typing all those ingredients in for me. I know how tedious it can be.Actually the list of ingredents looks pretty good. Of course it has some of the standard ingredients like sodium larueth sulfate but it doesn't look bad at all.How does it affect your hair? What were you using before you switched? Hi,I have not tried Nick Chavez but I have heard about it. I would love to know what the ingredients are.As far as KMS, I have relatively straight hair (just wavy at times) and so I have never used the Flat Out but I have heard great things about it.I personally love their KMS Gellato Gel. I like it equal to Aveda's Confixer. Hi,I recently ordered the Nick Chavez Perfect Plus Deluxe Collection off of the Home Shopping Channel. Has anyone seen his line or used it. It came with Shampoo 1 Clarifier- 8 oz.,Shampoo 2 Moisture Booster - 8 oz., Conditioner - 8 oz., Spray Gel - 8 oz., Hairspray- 8 oz., Omega 6 ReActivator - 4 oz., Shine- 2oz., 20 self holding rollers with 5 clips, Instructional Video and a salon styling brush. I have used all the products except the rollers or the brush just haven't had time yet. The brush is one that has a black handle with a metal round base which you can use to blow dry your hair straight. His products leave my hair very soft feeling. Also has anyone tried the new KMS Flat Out line? I went to a Salon today to look at products and got a free sample of the straightening shampoo, haven't tried it yet.
