Hi Joan,I bought this kit for just under $5. I live in New Hampshire and bought it at The Christmas Tree Store (a year round seasonal store). It comes with 3 wands (which look like long plastic needles with which you thread the beads onto your hair), 100 beads and stoppers and a video tape. Though the pictures on the box are of young girls, there is one style I would even like for myself. I would say to let your imagination run wild and find something that would fit your personality. Hope this helps.Take care,Noreen> Hi,> This sounds fun. HOw much does it cost? Is it just for> teens?> Thanks,> Joan

Hi JM, Leslie, and Karen,Thank you all for responding to this. I am sure that my granddaughter will have lots of fun with the Beadmagic. She is a very smart young lady, and I am sure that I worry for nothing. I will let you know how she does with it. She will probably want to try it out on me, and since she will probably get it for Christmas I am sure there will be pictures.Karen, I am just barely old enough to have grandchildren. My two oldest are from my son marrying into a ready made family, but the youngest (a girl, 18 months) is biological. I didn't think I was really ready for this, but grandchildren are great fun! Thank you for the comment. You made my day!Take care,Noreen> Hi Noreen,> It is very easy to use. I bought a kit and tried it on> my hair several months ago...and I am a klutz but I> figured it out. Hi Noreen,It is very easy to use. I bought a kit and tried it on my hair several months ago...and I am a klutz but I figured it out. I meant to review it for Hair Boutique but never got the chance. Maybe you could share how your grand daughter likes it.By the way...no way do you look old enough to be a grandmother. :-)Karen> Hi Noreen,> I have seen Beadmagic advertised on TV and it looks> pretty easy. It's very easy to do. My daughter got a kit for her birthday and I found that I didn't even have to view the video. You just thread the beads onto the "needle" and take a *small* section of hair and take the hair through the "eye" and just pull on the end of the "needle" and the hair just slips through it. You have these little plastic stays that you insert into the last bead (the hardest part IMO!) to keep the beads from falling out. It's a neat kit.

Hi All,I just bought an interesting hair beading kit for my 12 (soon to be 13) year old granddaughter. It's called Beadmagic. Her hair is a bit longer than shoulder length and stick straight. She likes to do her hair in different styles and is very much into beaded jewelry, so I thought this might make a good Birthday or Christmas gift. Has anyone used this product before? Is it easy to use? It comes with an instructional video, but before I open it and look to see if she will be able to handle it, I thought I would ask here.Take care,Noreen
