That's the problem ! I have heard that they coat the hair shaft and by doing so, preventmoisture from being absorbed by the hair. This can result in drier hair.If you have a build up of water-proof silicones on your hair, coloringthe hair will not turn out correctly. You have to remove the build up before your color.

Hi all,Could anyone tell me if silicones (Cyclomethicone/Dimethicone) are good or bad for thehair ? I've seem some discussions about it and some peoplesay they're bad other good...What's the truth ??Any idea ??Thanking in advanceCarla
