Hiya. I use mayonnaise as a conditioner once a week with great results. Here's the trick to getting Hellman's out of your hair:Assuming you've applied the mayo to dry hair (you're supposed to), don't step under the water yet. Work a handful of shampoo into your DRY, mayonnaised hair until you get a lather. You'll need twice as much shampoo as you ordinarily use. THEN rinse thoroughly. Shampoo again.I read this in a beauty magazine, and it does the trick for me.Ally

Well-I didn't want to test this out because you're right, it would probably make my hair stink and would probably be hard to rinse out.So what I did was heat up Vegetable Oil just a bit. Were on a limited budget so I needed something cheap besides Olive Oil.So anyways, what I did was pour the Oil throughout my hair concentrating on the ends and then I put a shower cap on my hair and put a hot towel around my head for about an hour or something. When I took it off, I used this Freeman's Shampoo because its gentle on your hair and and a Natures Gate Aloe Conditioner andwhen it got dry it was still a little oily but shiny and not very healthy feeling..So the results were that It was okay, but I wouldn't try this, please stick to Olive Oil, Beautifying Oil, or a Hot Oil Treatment,Bacon Grease and Vegetable Oil just aren't good enough.Has anyone else had any similar experiences?Oh yeah, I gotta try the Crisco:)
