Jeff you might not find lots of your participates on this site for the new site if you decide because a lot of people that come here desire advice on hair. Its a diffirent market. You would be drawing in people who want to to be creative with their stories, poetry etc. I really don't think you will have all your answers here. Anyways I am not asking you. I might do something in the future or I am asking someone else and he is very interested.Diane,> I don't believe that in any of my postings have I ever> said that the topics were negative and also to set the> record straight I enjoyed reading many of the long> hair vs. short hair postings. But at some point the postings degenerated into something less than civilized. When this happens Karen & I are afraid that some people who come to Hair Talk and need help with hair care topics might get lost in the shuffle. Our primary goal with this site is to provide the tools for our visitors to have healthly hair and thus contribute to a good self image. The hair care dicussions as well as the discussions into the social aspects of hair both contribute to that goal. When Karen & I first started this site and Hair Talk we had many problems with the posting of personals type messages in Hair Talk and men hitting on women in Hair Talk. This bothered us as we wanted women to have a place where they felt like they could come and get hair care information without feeling threatened by the hair fetish crowd. To resolve this problem we created the Personals board, thus creating an outlet for the inevitable Personals postings. This tactic has been rather successful.Maybe it is time to separate Hair Talk into two topic areas. We don't necessarily want to discourage the discussion of the social aspect of hair so much as we want to keep it civil and also make it easier for our visitors to find what they need.Karen & I havn't yet decided where we are going with this and we are still take suggestions and comments on how to procede.Jeff.

Jeff, topics are not always negative. Will you all remember how much you all laughed when I decided to come up with the topic of hair experience and almost all of you participated sharing your experiences of getting in trouble with your long hair. Some of you even said that you looked forward to reading all those. We almost filled the whole thread site with our remarks that left us laughing in stiches. I have a very good sense of humor and I am sure lots of you also. For example as this moment we have a braid topic going on the long hair site. You will laugh at the comments. They are funny.Oh may was that other kind of discussion? You guys enjoyed that!!! Some of you remember the negative but have forgotten how much you laughed at something that wasn't a hair shampoo topic.
