You are so kind. I've been desperately trying to finish a couple big additions to my home before winter finally hits and haven't gotten to write as much as I should. Hair Talk is my winding down for the day time though and I always at least pop in to see what's up. My husband works a graveyard shift, so at our house we all sort of live life with a slightly skewed schedule. I like the night, its so quiet and calm. Thank goodness cyberspace knows no time constraints!Hugs to you too and best wishes to everyone! Happy upcoming turkey day!Dawn

Sorry to take so long Terri Anne, but yes, I've been working for some weeks now on designs for really nice combs and barrettes. The problem is quality. So many of the available jewelry components are just not hair friendly, sharp edges, flimsy clasps, etc.,etc., and I wanted to be absolutely sure that any barrettes and combs RareGems created would live up to the high standards of Hair Boutique. I'm happy to say that I've finally tracked down parts that meet my requirements, tortoise shell combs with well rounded teeth and barrette backs of stainless steel with finer grade clasps so they won't peel or rust and are very hair friendly. As always, Karen and Jeff personally test any items that will be offered for sale to ensure the highest quality standards are met and I promise to be sure that the next batch of merchandise they receive will include some amber and cloisonne barrettes and combs. Pearls, rose quartz, lapis, handpainted porcelains and an assortment of birthday gemstones are also in the works so stay tuned! Thanks so much for your input, its always great to hear what people would like to see. I hope I can bring you more of what you want very soon!Best wishes to all,Dawn
I forgot this in my last post. I really love the amber hair ties (amber is my fav) but my hair is not long enough for the ties or the sticks. Could you guys consider making amber somethings for us medium lengths?Love the cloissonne too. :-)
