Any vegetable oil is a great (and cheap!) deep conditioner. Try warming some olive oil and coating your hair with it. Then wrap a warm towel around it and relax for a while. Leave the oil on with your hair in a bun on a Saturday for as long as you can... that will ensure deep penetration. Another great oil, a little more expensive but available at health food stores or stores like The Body Shop, is jojoba. I use Aveda Beautifying oil ($20 per bottle but really lasts) at night and for a deep conditoning once a week.Good luck!

Hi, I am AA and have a relaxer. I use Phytospecific or Kiehls. If you cannot find those brands try using Creme of Nature shampoo and Wella PhD conditioner. Those two can also work miracles. Try using a hot oil treatment also. Hope this helps.Melanie

Does anyone have any good suggestions on a> great deep conditioner, either drug store or salon> brand? I recently got a relaxer on my hair.. I am a white female and had naturaly curly hair... I wanted it straight .. I also color my hair ...well when I went to straighten it at the salon my hair became brittle, dry, and falling out. My hair was to my waist I had to cut it to my shoulders and what is left is still dry and brittle... I need any suggestions ... PLEASE!!!!!

I condition my hair after every shampoo, but I want to add a good deep conditioner to my regime as well...maybe something I can do every couple of weeks or so. Does anyone have any good suggestions on a great deep conditioner, either drug store or salon brand?
