Hey pj,check out the KMS line of hair products. Their molding paste is a good spiking agent. It works well on wet or dry hair and will last throughout the day with some hairspray. If your hair is curly or wavy, KMS also has a line of products called "flat out", which does just that. It will relax some of the wave and give you a straighter spike. If your looking for a "home remedy" spiking agent, then try sugar water. I've never tried it but hear it works great. Just mix some hot water and sugar (more sugar for a thick consistancy) and go to town (dont go near any bee hives). good luck, and let me know if you try the sugar method.
