Have you tried washing them & rinsing them out in hot soapy water? It works for me!> Does anyone have a suggestion for how to clean> hairspray build-up from hair accessories (barrettes,> sticks, etc.) without damaging the surface of the> accessory? I'm "gunking up" some of my> better barrettes, etc. and don't want the cleaner to> damage them.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to clean hairspray build-up from hair accessories (barrettes, sticks, etc.) without damaging the surface of the accessory? I'm "gunking up" some of my better barrettes, etc. and don't want the cleaner to damage them.
