It is to be used very differently than traditional products. You spra (on dry hair)section at a time as you put in your curlers, or use a curling iron. You must comb through immediately after you spray it for if it dries before you comb it, you wont be able to! It makes even the most resistant hair hold those shiny hard curls you see in alot of dressy styles. About the drying effects of effective set holders? my advice is to take a break regularly ie one day a week, don't use any setting product, and use a good clarifying shampoo and deep conditioner on that day.
Every morning, I set the ends of my hair with styling gel and velcro rollers. Even though I get a good hold with the gel, it leave the ends very dry, even when I use it on dry, just washed hair. Is there a styling product that I can use everyday on dry hair that will not dry out my hair, but holds curls very well?Renita
