Hello!I would like to purchase a professional flat iron- I read somewhere that the Solanao brand was the best. Can anyone give me a recommendation? Price is not an object, as I realize that with most hair care products, you get what you pay for. I just want an iron that will get my hiar bone straight And I want an electric one, so that I don't scorch my hair to death. I'm Black and have just below- the- shoulder- length relaxed hair in good condition. I let it air dry most times but occasionally I would like to where it straight. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!Denise
First of all, the smaller the section of hair, the smoother. Dont allow your hair to pass the sides of the iron. Hold the ends of your hair with your hands and be very careful with the hair above the iron. With professional irons it gets extremely hot because home irons have some sort of heat sensor that stops it from getting over a certain temperature. Oh, and common sense should tell you to be careful with the handle too. Be careful with your scalp. Even though it might not get burned, heat damages the pores and strips the scalp of oils. Don't hesitate to do the old fashioned paper towel test. You know, put the iron on a paper towel and if it turns brown, it is too hot. Smoke is also not a good sign.
Hi,I was wondering if anyone can give me specific instructions or at least some tips on how to flat iron my hair.I will be using a professional flat iron with a stove not one that is covered in plastic that you plug into the wall.Any help will be very appreciated.Thank you!!!!
