Serena,Not a lot of people know it, but you can change how far back the messages are displayed via the Set Preferences option on the message index page. I guess it's kinda of hidden. We default to just showing the messages from the last week, otherwise it takes too long to load the index. Thanks for your message...Jeff.

First of all, I'd like to say that I love this site. I never knew there were people as into hair as I am. Great job. Secondly, I'd like to make a sugestion for the next instalmant of 'The best of hairtalk'. When I first discovered this site a couple months ago there was a fascinating discusion taking place about the social issues of long and sort hair. I think it had something to with weather a woman should keep her hair long or get it cut. I wanted to read the whole thing but it was pretty long. Is it just me or did hairtalk use to show more posts at one time? As I remember, you called for the subject to be retired because some people were getting kind of snippy. That was ashame but I think the convorsation as a whole had a lot to offer. I love hair care but i think the social issues are equally interesting.
