I'm glad it's working for the rest of you, but I've tried it again and again in my hair, and I haven't noticed that it does anything... at least not anything different from any gels or mousse I've used. It doesn't weigh my hair down, but I noticed that my hair starts looking dirty faster than with just gel or mousse. Maybe I'm using too much? I have just-past-shoulder-length, very thick, curly hair, and I use about a nickel-sized dollop. It just... never does anything for me. Oh well, good luck!
I have relaxed, color-treated hair that will get frizzy and very dry if I don't take proper care of it. I've been using Potion 9 for about 5 months and I love it. I mainly use it as a leave in conditioner on towel-dried hair and it's never felt better. My hair does not break off as much as it did and I have fewer split ends. Don't worry about build-up. As long as you don't use too much of this (or any other product), you should be fine. Enjoy!Renita
Use it, love it! Makes great dressing for curl instead of gels or mousse. Experienced no problem, but did'nt use constantly. Breaking up routine is a good way to keep satisfaction.>
I have fine but a lot of hair that's lightened with a small area of damage on the back of my head, and it's also gotten somewhat dry in these winter months. I've recently started using Sebastian's Potion 9 in this area of damage on the back, top layer of my hair and on the ends, and I must say that this stuff leaves my hair very silky without weighing it down. I'm just concerned now what the long term effects of this stuff are(will it eventually build up on my hair?). So if anyone has used this for long periods of time, I'd like to know your experience. Thanks!Kara
