Hi!If you check out the ingredients in Vidal Sassoon and compare them with those in Pantene, you will find that these two shampoos are almost identical! I have tried both at one point, but stopped when I found out that they both contain ammonium xylenosulfate (sp?), which is essentially a nail polish solvent (is this why my hair felt so dry?). However, if these product s work for your hair, by all means DON'T stop using them-- all hair is NOT the same! As for the silicone products-- yes, silicone can build up on your hair causing it to feel dry and brittle, so go easy with this greasy stuff and be sure to rotate your normal washings with a clarifier every now and then!

That always makes my hair even my frizzy! What I do is wash & condition my hair and apply the frizz ease to wet hair and then wrap my head in a towel until my hair is "towel-dry", then I roll my hair in velcro rollers until it's dry. It's always frizz-free and shiny. But you have to let it dry completely,if you take it down before, it'll frizz.
I have used Frizz Ease and it does nothing for the frizz, but it does make my hair really shiny. Actually it works if I want to flat iron my hair after I blow dry it. It makes it easier to straighten but as far as easing my frizz after I blow dry, doesnt work. I am not sure if your hair is actually healthy, but it sure looks it after you use Frizz Ease.
personally i think many hair shampoos are the same(just different names) Although panteene smells nice.. my aunt is a beautition in atlanta, and she says it isnot the best to use. it leaves a waxy residue on the outher part of your hair. So its good you went with the "horror stories".:)Anyway..i use head in schoulders or TRESemme(wonerfully inexpensive) I also use Finesee. Many people spend lots of $ on hair prouducts and some really dont need to.Now i have a question for you...Do you like the Frizz ease hair serum?? Ive heard good things about it but never tried it.. Can you give me some feedback? ThanksKerri

There are so many different types of shampoos I don't know which ones to use. I used to use Pantene until I heard so many horror stories about it. Now I use Vidal Sassoon Shampoo(D)and Vidal Sassoon conditioner (4)(with heat defense). Anybody have any good/bad comments on these products. After shampooing and conditioning I use John Frieda's Frizz Ease hair serum. Is it damaging to the hair?I'm trying to get my hair healthy again and I don't want to damage it further with the wrong shampoo or hair product.THANKS!!!
