No problem DJ. Thanks for the info on Wildgrowth. I've alwayswondered about it. My aunt and I are going to get some. Itsounds like all good stuff. This is a new day so how is yourhari doing today? It sounds like already you're making a lotof progress with the softer feel and conditioner (wildgrowth).Keep me posted on any new finds and tips you come up with.I'm always looking for ways to improve my hair. Mostly nowsince it's all natural styles are the hardest to come by, andI'm very conservative in dress and hair so not too muchupdo works for me.
Okay, I went to the beauty supply store and got the Wildgrowth and some new ponytailers. SOme sily feeling ones, not the terry ones. I must say that I'm impressed with the results that the Wildgrowth oil gave me. My hair feels silky, and shiny, but not greasy or coated. I looked at the ingredients, and it looks like it's got some good stuff in it.Contents:Olive oil USP, Linoleic, Oleic, Palmitic, and Stearic Acids, Propanetriol[A natural lipid derivative], Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Ergosterol{A "D" Vitamin], Choline, Inositol, Iron, Magnesium, Phosporous, Potassium, and CalciumIs all this stuff okay for the hair?I could see how a person could grow their hair out with this. It doesn't make your hair grow, but protects it to the point that you don't have as much damage from tangles, breakage and styling, so the lenght adds up, and in effect the growth outweighs the breakage. So Yeah for me. I got it at one of those ehtnic beauty supply stores. This one is run by a Korean Lady. She says that a lot of people buy it and swear by it. If it passes the tangle test on my daughter's head, then I am sold. She has somoe of the kinkiest, breakingest, hard to grow hair imaginable. She is 16 months old, and I can barely put her hair in braids because it breaks off so much. We'll see how this works.I wnt to the website www.doitnow.com/~wildgro and read the testimonials, I don't believe the instant growth ones, but the ones that say over time their hair grew, I can believe, because it can help your hair's strength and over time you will see the growth with less breakage. So I am psyched.I haven't told my husband what I'm doing. He seems to think that I'm always doing something crazy with my hair anyway, so I'll just see what he says by the time the summer comes.PS, thanks again Kendia. The difference in my hair today, and yesterday are like night and day. People were asking me if I were sick yesterday, which I was (sinus infection). But today, they are telling me that I look like I made a full recovery. (still have sinus infection, and I'm completely congested, but I look better).Sorry for the long post.
