I've heard Nature's Gate Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner praised as a cure for dry scalp. Olive oil rubbed into the scalp might also help.

> you may need to consult your pediatrician for this one. Maybe washing her hair every other day and using a light conditioner could help. Also, my son has very dry skin all over and the doctor recommends oatmeal baths occasionally in warm water (not hot). There may be an oatmeal based shampoo you could use, I'm not sure. Hope this helps a little.

my 6yr old has fine hair and her scalp is constantly dry and does not retain any oil. what can be done? i've tried using castor oil and giving her treatments using a tar extract shampoo.
