Rusk Anti-Curl Relaxer Formula

Hi,I just thought that would also let you in on my experience with the Rusk Radical Anti-Curl Chemical Relaxer. Over the last three years, I have used this product off and on. Let me first say that my hair is naturally curly, but loosely curled. However, I have a ton of it, so it tends to get poofy. Anyway, the first time my stylist used this stuff-- it was in its testing stages, and she didn't tell me that I would still have to do everything that I was doing before to get my hair straight. These gentle relaxers, do not make your hair straight-- mine was still curly, only looser! Also, i had terrible breakage eventually with the Rusk and finally went to a new stylist who used another chemical relaxer called Paul Brown Hair at Rest. This relaxer took much better than the previous one, was not as drying, and lasted much longer.I know that everyones hair is different,.. but I just don't think that Rusk works all that well. However, I have forever forgone relaxers, and now choose to work with my own texture-- not that it was ever that much of a difference!ps-- my stylist also told me that these type of relaxers work best on people who are trying to grow out old perms!
