Therefore, re-texturizing would be the first step in your 3 step process. Next, I would color, and thirdly, I would cellophane the hair. The cellophane will lock in the two treatments you chose to do first, and give a bonus shine to the hair. But, I will add, if you have exisiting color on your hair, the re-texterizing process will not damage the hair, if kept off the porous ends until the last 5 min. of processing. You may loose the depth of your color processed hair color, until you reapply the new color.
I would first like to thank the person who gave me the wonderful advice to use the ARTec Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Both have worked beautifully on my hair and my sisters. Sorry I can not remember who it was!Second,I need some really solid advice on coloring.I recently purchased Loving Care's Level one ("gentle to your hair as shampoo" color # 83-the kind that washes out after 6-12 shampoos)but I am considering a texturizer to tame my curly hair. BUT I also want to give myself a clear cellophane. If I go through the texturizer what order should I do this in??? The only reason why I want the clear cellophane is that I read that it is a vegetable protein that coats and protects the hair, therefore making it stronger & makes it shiny.Sorry for the long message. I would appreciate any help with this...THANKS!!!
