QuoteReplyTopic: To Perm or not to Perm...HELP!! Posted: January 12 2000 at 3:48am
I would make them do a test, wrap a section of hair in the back underneath , do all the chemical processing, wash it, dry it, and then look at it and feel it. I know this sounds time consuming but better to know ahead of time what the end results will be.
Ok, the countdown is on. Tommorow is my apt. to have the hair permed. I have naturally wavy dirty blond hair, medium length. Never had a perm before. My hair is kind of dry ,and frizzy at times, and worried that the perm might make it dryer? But most perms I've seen make the hair look so much more healthy and alive...there's still time to cancel!! I'm still confused about perms and their effects and would like to go into the salon tommorow feeling somewhat more confidant about my choice. Any last suggesttions/opinions/comments/even horror stories! Thanks...!
