Little O, your message cracked me up! I actually HAVE used Dial Antibacterial on my head, after having gone to a dog breeder's house that was so filthy I felt I couldn't get clean. I shudder to remember it!!! They didn't even have soap in their bathroom when I went in to wash my hands! It was just one of those times when I felt that my regular shampoo (whatever it was at the time) just wouldn't get my hair clean. . .and I really didn't care about the results! As for consumers being lied to. . .what a slimy fact of life. Whether it's shampoo, toothpaste, or weight loss products, at one time or another we all buy it hook, line, and sinker. Thankfully we have forums such as this to sort out the truth! :)
In one of your messages, you mentioned that you would rather wash your hair with dial liquid soap? Haha, that is funny, but it is true.If you compare the ingredients between pantene and dial, most of the ingredients compare.Anyways, taking this expression, it reminded me one time that I usedNeutrogena's bodywash. I was littler than I am now and also dumber,no offense taken. I loved the smell of this soap, and I wanted the smell to be in my hair, so I wet my hair, massaged in about a silver half dollar size in my hair( a lot), and rinsed it out.It didn't do any damage, it just didn't make my hair all that shiny. The thing was my hair was soooooooo flat, it was super stick straight, It was a little dry, but I'd have to say, its exactly how Herbal essence left my hair and pantene too! They might as well convert their shampoo into a hand soap!I just wanted to share this experience. The companies sure do lie, I guess there is no way we can stop them from selling bad products.
