This is a 'shot in the dark', as 'auburn' has many different descriptions and 'levels'. Definitly strand test on the most heavily highlighted area and dry to check. Also, you might think about weaving another formula that has a little more or less 'Tera Cotta' in it for great results in creating low lights in this color back process. (With apologies to Beth Minardi, my haircolor hero!). william
