Hi,I have used just about every combination of the ARTec smoothing shampoo/conditioner and I have mixed it and matched it a number of ways. I have never found it to weigh my hair down. However, it is designed to be a moisturizing shampoo so if you have had a history or problems with moisturizing shampoos you may need to keep this in mind.You may want to read my ARTec Smoothing reviews and my ARTec Moisture Pac review to get some more info before you do make the investment.Best wishes,Karen> I live in Florida (near Tampa) and have been unable to> locate Artec's moisture pack. Hi Shannon!All ARTec products can be ordered safely from the World Wide Beauty Store on line. I will put the URL down at the bottome for you. Now, about your questions-- first let me say that I have loose naturally curly hair and must say that ARTec is my MOST favorite line that I have ever tried and I have tried A LOT! Now, I started out using both the Smoothing Shampoo and the Smoothing Conditioner-- however, I found that the combo DID weigh my hair down a bit, so you may want to be carefeul. Anyway, I love the SMoothing Conditioner, so I decided to try using the Volume Shampoo with it. This Works well and it did the trick! Also, the Moisture Pac is VERY intense! If your hair oges limp easily, you definately want to avoid this treatment. Instead, user the Smoothing Conditioner as a deep treatment-- just either leave it on longer (15-20 min.) or use some heat with it! Everything weighs down my hair but, the smoothing combo is wonderful. It does not weigh my hair down at all! I love this combo and even the Moisture Pack.
