Yes, Little O and the others above are right. The only way is to trim the split ends.When I was first trying to grow my hair (which was stuck at my bra length) I went to a stylist that specialized in long hair and they told me that I had to have my ends trimmed for my hair to grow and be healthy. End of subject.I argued and argued...to no avail. So they cut the ends off and my hair was back up to my collarbone. BUT..that was 10 years ago and you can see the results in all my photos. My hair is now below my waist and continuing to grow.I was noticing last nite that even though I just had my hair highlighted 1 month ago I have some substantial roots growing and my bangs have shot past my eyebrows in just 2 weeks. I had to have over 6 in. taken off my hair a few years ago because I thought that split end shampoos and conditioners would fix my split ends, but they did'nt. My hair is now 2 in. from my waist since I have been getting regular trims every 8 weeks. I get my hair colored every six weeks which can dry out your hair and break it too. My hairstylist said my hair was in immaculate condition because of the way I take care of my hair. I also use Nature's Gate keratin and panthenol shampoos and conditioners. They leave my hair shiny, healthy, soft and my hair smells great. Try these shampoos, etc. and see if they can help along with regular trims. Let me know in a few weeks how it works out. :)

Add 1/2 oz. of it to each of your favorite shampoo and water-based, rinse-out conditioner. After just one use your hair will be stronger, your tears and split-ends will be temporarily sealed, breakage will be greatly reduced and your hair will look much thicker. I love it -- will use it for life!
