Dear Shannon,Sorry it took me so long to spot your post. I have been out of town a lot lately and not checking in as much as I should. :-(I am so glad that you are enjoying the Hair Talk archives. I love going back and looking at all the old posts myself. To answer your questions...long hair videos were originally sold on the pre-Hair Talk website that was known as The Long Hair Video site. That site was Jim Butchee's web site that Jeff and I created and ran for him. Butchee chose to close his website in 1997 and Jeff and I then created the Hair Boutique. The Hair Boutique has no affiliation or ties in any way with Jim Butchee or his long hair videos. It was recently reported on another site that Jim Butchee has since closed his salon - Studio B and is out of business. The phone number to his salon has been disconnected. The 800 number to order the tapes has also been disconnected.I have worked out an arrangement to sell other long hair videos from Patrick Cameron in the near future. I have the three tapes that he created and am reviewing them. I am very pleased with them and we will offer them for sale soon on HB.As far as Battalia Brushes. They were also sold by Jim Butchee and I tried to get permission from Battalia to sell the brushes on Hair Boutique but they were unwilling to let us sell the brushed on the Internet.I am sorry to have to give you these answers. I do highly recommend the Mason Pearson brushes though.Thank you for all your kind words. I appreciate it so much.Best wishes,Karen> First of all I want to thank you for posting the hair> talk archive, I'm having lots of fun going through all> the posts I missed before I found this site. That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

I have some questions though, first there are some long hair videos mentioned that were apparently sold on this site. Are those still available somewhere on the web? I was also wondering about the Battalia brush, is that still available? do you still recomend it? I seem to remember that you presently use a boar bristle brush. Just curious. Thanks for your help and your great web site (I'm hooked). I always come here first, you've got my vote for best hair site on the web. Thanks again,Shannon G.
