Rinse with a cool water rinse. I would definitely follow your dr's orders, he knows medicine better than I, but when your child comes ,wait at least 30 days to let your body get back to normal, and color with Redken Shades EQ for a closer to normal color. william

Hi,Well if you want to keep your color fresh, I would recommend the Aveda color shampoos. They are gentle on hair and do a great job.I think William might be able to offer some additional color tips. William are you out there? :-)Best wishes,Karen> I am a few months pregnant and told by my doc the only> color I could do to my hair is by iusing a cap (so the> color doesn't touch my scalp). I am a few months pregnant and told by my doc the only color I could do to my hair is by iusing a cap (so the color doesn't touch my scalp). My hair was done very light blonde and the dark blonde roots were starting to show with a line of demarcation. My stylist pulled large chunks of hair through a cap, put on a strawberry blonde toner(a filler), then applied an ash blonde 2 shades ligher than my roots. After it was done, it looked better, the line of demarcation is still there, however less noticeable. Should she have used a darker color? She didn't want the change to be too dark or too drastic. Also, I have been hearing about shampoos that have a color in them...what product and what shades should I use to keep this color fresh and maybe help darken a bit more to blend the roots in better?
