this is a old thread, but i believe his problem is the clippers he used. Thats how my ish b lookn if i cut it myself @ a low clipper size.

1st of all.. .he gets his hair cut way to damn low
2nd. he needs to brush more
3rd... he prob gave up on the wave thing.
4... im outtioe

ya gota letit gro sum mo, iwuznt seein nuttin til i started usin mah spornette hard brush so use a hard brush, i brushed da pomade in 4 at least 45 min., yo ish should b flowin by da next kutt, at first get it kutt ery 4 weeks..keep us updated yo

Yea, too low. Get you a soft brush and start brushin. Once your hair grows you can move up to the medium/hard brushes.

Even though your hair is low you can still brush.

u def. dont have enough hair....let yo hair grow out and brush and do all the pomade/gel stuff...then when u cut all yo hair off u should see some waves...then from there u just gotta train yo head

I used to cut my hair that often and i never got waves but when i left my hair for at least 4 weeks with an hour brushing everyday they came out when i got it cut, but maybe your hair is just different.

Yeah waves take work to get.. but its alot easier than u would think. Step up yo brushin and yo stuff should start comin in real nice. Mayb like a month or two, especially if u been tryin and brushin for a year alredy. Brush like 45 min after u wash yo hair, and then whenever u can durin the day for like 10 min or somethin.

hmmmm...i didnt mesure it but it was at the point where i couldnt manage it, it wasnt too long. i get a cut like once every 2 or 3 weeks
