Hey fellow curlygirl, what's your hairtype? I love that classification system on naturallycurly, although I will probably have to buy that book to be sure. I think I'm probably a 2b or 2c, although they refer to 2b as pretty much straight (which I'm not) but 2c as coarse and wavy. Mine is fine and wavy, and can usually be coaxed into curly. What's been your best tip?
Rini,I've never looked for their website but the address on the bottle is Nature's Gate Herbal Cosmetics, Chatsworth, CA 91311. I get mine at a health food store, you might want to try that also. They are really terrific products at a terrific price ($4.85 U.S. for 18 oz). They are all natural and contain great ingredients like coconut oil, Biotin, Panthenol, Cystine, Amino Acids, Johoba and Wild Mint. They smell wonderful and really moisturize. I use the Biotin Shampoo and Awapuhi/Rainwater conditioner daily and the Biotin Gel Conditioner as a deep conditioner. Do check out Cher's review, it's what got me hooked!

I agree whole-heartedly with the value this site gives me....I come here every time I log-on now (and that's every day) and spend a while reading all the posts and absorbing the knowledge like a sponge! Just one question though, what is Nature's Gate? I am in Australia, so it may be that it's an American product?
Hi Everyone!I have been logging on to Hairtalk for about 2 months now and I just wanted to THANK EVERYONE for finally reconciling me with my hair! After years of feuding, pulling, burning, chopping and generally abusing my tendrils in a futile effort to transform them into something they are not and will never be (namely straight), I gained the knowledge to transform my slightly wavy, frizzy, overprocessed hair into a beautiful, soft, healthy cascade of spirals that masks my uneven, growing-out layers, bad bangs and cowlicks! I especially want to thank Cher for introducing me to Nature's Gate (truly the nectar of the gods) and all the references to naturallycurly.com - where I found the products that enabled me to embrace, not deface, my waves. My advice to newbies - BOOKMARK this page! The only thing better than the advice is the people who post it!
