Hi there! After you color your hair the cuticle lays open for a while beacuse the hsir is in an alkaline state. The ingredients used in hair dyes (particularly permanant colors) have a high pH (it needs to be this way in order for the color to be able to penetrate into the shaft). Therefore, the thing to do would be to neuatralize this alkaline state with an acidifying conditioner with a pH of around 3.0 I have found that the best one out there is ARTec's Moisture Pac. The acidic pH (3.0) shuts downt he cuticle and allows for a smooth, glossy finish. However, the hair is a funny thing and wants to return to it's neutral (or natural) state with a pH of around 6.5-7.0-- therefore, continued treatments of this products would be most beneficial until your cuticle returns to normal-- and even then, this is one of the most increadible moisturizing treatments that I have ever used. Also, for additional shine-- try cool water rinses and aim your blowdryer DOWN the hair shaft, this will make the cuticle lie very flat. Good Luck!!!Sherry~> hi is there a way to get that after color smothness> and wetness you get right after coloring job.> any product or rinse or tip thanks
