This may sound like a stupid white girl question, but what is the castille soap you were using? The bar castille soap?? If so, how were you using it in your hair?Another silly question...I have red hair which naturally tends to be on the dry side at times. I was thinking of switching and using some afro-american products because I have heard about the moisturizers in some products to help in the drying of afro-america hair textures. Have I lost my mind? My hair is naturally red, sort of on the thin side, lifeless and dry at times...mostly summer/spring months. I can't use any type of gell in my hair because it makes it all sticky and ichy. I have been using the Body Shops "coconut oil" hair shine and it does good until I use it too much and then my face breaks out due to clogged pores on my face. Do you think I would run into the same probelm w/ afro-american products?Any anvice would be great, thx

Hi, Sug'!I don't know if I remember seeing the Hoeysuckle ROse> shampoo. I think I saw the rose mosqueta (sp) in the> store. I will probably have to order the other> products off the internet. But since Aubrey has the 2> oz sample sizes, I might try it that way. As you say,> my hair was very dry. I didn't realize how dry until I> started using these products. Now it dries soft,> something it never did before. The Honeysuckle Rose is really hard to get in the stores. Fresh Field/Whole Fields doesn't even carry it and I know this is inapplicable to you because you do not have one in your area. The Try-Me-Out sizes would be best to start with. The Vitamin Shoppe does not carry these, but I think Aubrey still does.> I just might try the honeysuckle rose combo and see> what happens. If you do, let me know how it works.> Different topic:> I know we corresponded about which vitamins are good> for the hair, and I've seen your posts. Karen eats the Nori sheets. She says that they are crunchy and quite tasty. I think what you would have to do to make a salad would be to soak the Nori or Dulse for a period of time, but I do not know how long.> I'm with you on the Viviscal, I think I'll wait for> the long term results to see how it works out before I> buy it.Sorry that I could not have been more helpful....All the Best,Jade21

Hi, Sug!I have not seen a post from you in a while and am glad to see this one:)Your experience with Aubrey is interesting and I know very helpful to some people who are contemplating trying the line. It is important to note that it may often take several times just to find the right products for your hair. For me, it was a major accomplishment to learn how to use the right amount of shampoo. As several women have posted here in the past, they could not use the shampoos because they left their hair hard. As you say, why this is, I do not know.If you are having a good experience with the White Camelia shampoo, I would suggest the Honeysuckle Rose shampoo and conditioner to you. They are ultra-concentrated and work well on dry hair.Your hair must have been extremely dry. I thought my hair, at its worst, as I discuss in the article, was about as dry as hair could get. At that point, I found the Jojoba and Aloe Conditioner to be quite a dose of conditioning. It sounds like Viviscal is popping up all over. I will look forward to hear about the results of the many women who have decided to take the supplement here.Take care and all the best...Jade21I've been using the Aubrey line for about a month no,> and I have to agree that It is a wonderful line of> products.
