Hi, Roberta!The conditioners are concentrated and I think the only advice which I can give to you is start small and work your way up to the right amount. Also, I would say that the amount of time the conditioner is left in your hair is also important. Hi Roberta,I haven't been using AO for long so Jade can probably answer better than me. I use about a quarter size dollop and my hair is about 2" from bra strap. Usually this is a little more than I need. i.e. I still have a little on the sides of my hands and between my fingers after I have coated my hair.HTH,Shannon G.
