Karen: Could you explain the concept of rinses

a color rinse will do the same as a clear, just with color.if it is a semi-perm. color it usually just fades off with time. you can darken with these, but you can not lighten. you can also choose a shade very close to your natural and it will brighten it up much more and people will know you did something with your hair and maybe not pinpoint what it is. just be careful if you do choose a color rinse.

I have tried a clear rinse because I heard its suppose to infuse shine in your hair, also, i figured it couldn't do to much damage. But I am interested in the color ones, what exactly are they suppose to do and how are you suppose to use them. Do they change your hair color, or highlight your natural color, I'd appreciate your comments.
