Some of the blonde students end up strawberry blonde by the end of the year just because of the iron. There's at least one salon where I've heard they have some kind of rinse that many of the locals get to wash the iron out of their hair. Unfortunately, I don't know what's in that solution, nor if it's really good for your hair.-AED
short of using bottled or distilled water to shampoo your hair (which seems a little extravagant, perhaps, not to mention kind of awkward), i suggest you simply use the best quality salon products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner) that you can afford.
I'm getting ready to leave for college, and the water down there is very hard, and has a slimy feel to it (at home we have a water softener). It's the epitome of nasty, and I'm wondering what kind of shampoo/conditioners I'm going to need to keep my hair looking decent.Thank you so much for your help!!ChaundraP.S. My hair is currently long (mid back), straight, a little on the course side, but not overly thick. Darkish Brown in color.
