if you cannot go to a salon to get this done, i highly recommend DOING A TEST STRAND before you color with any hair color product. I have found the Naturcolor (italian brand) to be very good and gentle. It's available at many health food stores, as it is primarily an organic product. If you do it at home you are taking a great risk of getting unwanted undertones and/or very uneven color. Then you will be going to a salon and paying double waht you would normally pay, because you will need a professional to correct it. I hope this advise helps :o)
