Sometimes I almost become aware that I am using them, especially when I am reading, watching TV or talking on the phone at the same time. It has become a habit. It just occurred to me that they would most likely be even more effective if I massaged my scalp with my head hanging down over the side of the bed, so I'll begin doing it that way, too. Thanks for asking about my well-being. You are so kind. I am well and honestly hope you and yours are also. :-)

After reading several articles and messages about the benefits of scalp massage, I decided to buy a pair of scalp massage brushes I saw in a Home Trends catalog, a few weeks ago. Each is nearly as large as the diameter of the average hand, so I usually use only one at a time. They are made of soft, rubber-like vinyl and it feels so good when I use them to loosen my scalp by moving my scalp (only) up and down, around in different directions several times a day . Afterwards my scalp feels very warm and tingly from the increased blood flow.I was so delighted to have noticed very recently that I definitely see less scalp through my hair than before, so it seems that my hair is beginning to thicken, which is what I very much want to happen. Using them has gotten to be a habit and I do it when I'm watching TV, reading talking on the phone, or whenever it's convenient. If anyone else is interested, you may order a pair from Home Trends at 1-800-810-2340 and by asking for item #34179 or asking to be sent a copy of their catalog, which you will get free with your order, anyway. The massagers are $7.95 per pair, or $14.00 for 2 pairs, plus shipping. When using them, do not move them across the scalp as you would do with a regular hair brush. Instead, hold them in place and move the scalp, itself, using the nesessary downward pressure. You may notice several lost strands of hair when you comb your hair afterwards but it will only be the loose, resting-phase hair that you were about to shed anyway, so it is nothing to worry about.
