I bleached it Monday nite. I have done this many times before and refuse to let any professional touch my hair with colour for the reason being - bad, bad experiences in the past. I have always had good luck with doing it myself, but this time was different. I ended up going to the beauty supply and buying some toner that quickly remedied my problem. Thank you for your response.

I did the same thing to my hair, only just to the top layer. I tried using a so-called 'subtle highlighting' product but apparently I must have applied too much. It looks like I dunked the top of my head in a vat of peroxide. Yikes. I have pale banana yellow and orange highlights on top of a light brown bottom layer. Not at all natural looking. My part line is entirely yellow/orange. I called the Clairol hotline and they advised me to try their 'dramatic highlighting' product "Frost and Tip", but to avoid over-highlighting the pale yellow parts (as if I am that skilled). I'm not sure what to do, and would welcome any suggestions. Is there anyway to reduce the brassiness without bleaching it to white and then retoning it?
Hi, I recently bleached my short hair into a mess that has turned into a soft yellow blonde with strawberry highlights. I have naturally dark blonde hair with red undertones. Is there any special toner or anything I can do to either lighten it more or make it look less yellow. Thanks for any and all help.
