Dear Jade21,Thanks soo much for your suggestions! I'll get the vitamins and will do the hot oil treatments. The B-5, Ginkgo jelly and White Camelia shine stuff all sounds great. I just finished washing my hair with the GPB myself, so I wouldn't laugh at you! And my boyfriend is sitting here glued to the TV himself (the de la Hoya fight...)And I think I'll try shampooing maybe three times times a week, and like you said, just be gentle.THanks again!!!-Leslie

Are you having problems with dryness? Remember thatyou can always use the White Camelia and Jasmine Shampoo, HoneysuckleRose shampoo, Swimmers'Shampoo, as well as the J.A.Y. and RoseMosqueta. Also, your growth rate is actually just a tad below average. As you said, you just need to quell the splits. You won't overdose onthe B-Vitamins in HF37 step 1.The B-Vitamins are water-soluble, meaningthat any excess is excreted in your urine or sweat on a daily basis, sono toxicity problems. Use the amino acids at your own discretion. Mypersonal advice, get a good multivitamin and get a B-Complex vitamin(100mg). Actually, you want to divide your dose of the B-Complexvitamin, so buy a bottle of 50mg tabs or caps and take one in themorning with a meal and one in evening with dinner. When you exercise, the sweat will just cake up on your scalp. It's notper se going to dry out your hair. If you want to shampoo your hairmore frequently, just be sure to use moisturizing shampoos and be gentlewith the hair. Any of Aubrey's conditioners like the J and J or RoseMosqueta hair cream should fit in well to the extra shampooing. Whatyou can do is perhaps just do one shampoo and very gently. Be sure tocheck with the 4a/b discussion over at naturallycurly. Dear Jade21,I've been "lurking" on this site and naturallycurly.com, and I always find your advice so helpful to others that I was wondering if you could help me, too! I posted a message on Thursday titled "Moisturizing curly, kinky hair," but no one has responded yet (if I knew how to do the yellow sad face, it would go here!), and I respect your opinion.I have 4a/4b hair that's been natural for almost 5 months. Thanks to your suggestions to others, I just bought a lot of Aubrey products (JAY, GPB, Jojoba and Aloe Conditioner, Rosa Mosqueta shampoo and sample-size) and jojoba oil and shea butter. I've tried the Aubrey stuff a couple of times, and I'm definitely going to stick with them. I always thought something was wrong with putting stuff in your hair that you can't pronounce. However, I also want a some kind of natural gel or something to get rid of the frizzies when my hair dries and define my curls more. Any Aubrey suggesstions? Also, I work out 4-5 times a week, which really dries my already dry hair out even more. I've been putting the jojoba oil on everyday to help this, but do you know of something else I should do? Also, I wash my hair 2X a week; should I stick with this or wash 3-4X a week (to get rid of the extra dirt from sweating.)I've also been considering taking the HF 37; do you think it's safe?I'd really appreciate your help, Jade21, and everyone else's too; so will my hair!!!-Leslie
