Hi Stephanie, I would recommend waiting two weeks before reperming. Meanwhile, give yourself a couple of deep protein conditioning treatments to prepare your hair. Chances are the first perm did minimal damage, but your hair is more succeptible the before, so I would also recommend that you have it professionally done. Long hair is always trickier to do at home. Good Luck!
I just had a friend give me a home perm,(Ogilvie)I have long straight hair and it turned out barely wavey.I'd like to do it again with more rods and maybe smaller ones. How long should i wait?My hair is in good condition, i also color it but havent in a long time.Thanks Stefanie
