Maria,Wrong family with the echinacea:) Here is Prescription's comments on the herb: Also called coneflower....Caution: Should not be used by those who are allergic to plants in the sunflower family." What I know I have read is that often if you do have a pollen sensitivity or allergy, echinacea can trigger a reaction. I am sensitive to pollen and have not had problems, but I would definitely be wary if you have asthma. With the chamomile, Prescription for Nutritional Healing's Caution is "Should not be used for long periods of time, as this may lead to ragweed allergy. Should not be used by those who are allergic to ragweed." Mindell's Herb Bible indicates that chamomile is " a member of the daisy family, and anyone who is allergic to other members of the daisy family, including ragweed, should steer clear of this herb. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or allergist."Hope this helps a bit....Bye for now,Jade> I have a question for you. Hey, Maria! You are correct. Both are in the ragweed family and you should be careful if you are thinking of ingesting these if you have pollen sensitivity and, yes, asthma.Definitely check with the physician.Bye for now,Jade> I have a question for you.
