Ok, I had highlights put in my hair for a year, so I had different stylists do it and had colors ranging from blonde to brassy orange. I got tired of all the different colors and my roots were growing in again so I thought why not try and dye it back to my natural color, light brown with golden highlights. So I used Feria light golden brown, not remembering once you have color on your hair it won't be the same as what the box shows it will be. So I got quite a blah non color dark brown. I lived with it for a few weeks and just couldn't handle it any longer so I put on a light ash blonde. Well it went a reddy browny awful yuck blah color. It's not as bad as I'am making it sound I just don't like RED. So my hair has grown an inch, and I have roots again and Christmas and NewYears parties are coming. I know no matter what this is a job for a specialist, but do I get my hair dyed then highlights put back into it or ?? I am wanting the color of Celine Dion or Jennifer Aniston. Is that dye and highlights or straight dye? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have hair that is one length, super curly, and reaches the middle of my back so I will be charged 30 for a trim 80 for color and 80 for highlights. Help.
