QuoteReplyTopic: Ceramic Flat Irons at Reasonable Prices? Posted: October 08 2003 at 1:18pm
I bought a HAI 2 a while back. It's just a good as a CHI & costs about the same but the plates are wider so you can straighten a larger area at once. Another to considr is the Sapphire. Look for ceramic & moisture lock. At the time it cost about $120.00 but they run about 100.00 now. I've bought ones from Sally's Beauty & Trade secret & they fell apart & damaged my hair. trust only professional tools

Sally's Beauty Supply has quite a few different brands. I purchased the Jilbere de Paris Ceramic Tools for $40. I have not used it yet but will be doing so within the next few days. I shall post a review then....
My daughter has a CHI ceramic iron that I paid around $100.00 for from a salon..you can order them online for around $80.00 - $100.00. I recently purchased myself one from Sallys Beauty Supply and it is just as good as hers and I paid around $40.00 tax and all. It is called "Ceramic Tools" and I love it..for the price, I think it works just as well. It has a temp. control and is easy to use..Good luck..
