Have you tried John Frieda Frizz Ease Corrective Styling Gel with Encapsulated Silicone for Curly/Straight Hair?  I get a lot of email feedback from people that really like this product because it is a firm hold gel that controls hard to manage hair while being non-greasy. The product does contain silicone beads but they provide great shine and calms frizzy hair & fly-aways. This gel is great for men because it’s easy to use and has an almost non-existent scent.  Average cost $5-6 depending on the size you buy and where.

Goldwell makes the Trendline Gel/Wax product - average retail is around $13-15 depending on where you buy it.  Designed for molding, sculpting and accentuating. Trendline Gel Wax is also great for creative "wet looks" effects and is ideal for short or curly hair styles. Soft, flexible hold with brilliant shine. Humectant for dry hair. Provides UV protection.

Phyto has the Phyto Pro Ultra Gloss Wax product. This finishing wax uses the thickening power of myrrh to define short and tapered cuts, imparting ultimate texture and extreme shine. Average cost is $20.00

Matrix Amplify makes a gel/wax product as well.

Got2B also has some amazing gels that would work great as a separator.  Their Glue is the #1 selling spiking product on the market today.  They also have an amazing gel/mouse that we literally can't keep in stock because it is so popular and works so well.

Hope that gives you some options to consider.

Best wishes,
Karen Shelton

First of all i hope i am posting this in the right place. I used Nick Chavez gel-waxx duo from QVC. well now i guess they don't carry it because I couldn't find it. It was a seperator (sp) texture type stuff. Any ideas of what else would work for a seperator?? Thanks in advance.
