There are two ways to fix your problem. You can either go to a beauty supply shop and purchase a red toner for the blonde hair. However, the toner will probably not accept on your roots. You can also purchase a red dye to put on the blonde, and the brown but it will probably fade very quickly and you will have to end up dying over and over again whenever it fades. If you dye it brown, and then dye it red you will probably get the least damage and the color will stay. Another way to get the red color is to bleach your roots, and then apply the permenant red toner to your hair. Whatever you do make sure you follow the directions, and do the strand test.
At the moment, my hair is dyed blonde on top and dark brown underneath.
My natural colour is dark brown, I am sick of being blonde..... can I buy a permenant brown dye and put it on....or will this cause the blonde to go funny?
I am hoping to get back to red, as I love that colour, but realise I can't put red onto of blonde....so I have to go brown first....
Please please please can I have some advice - my email address is applepie300@hotmail.com.
