Tomorrow will be my first time getting my hair professionally colored. I just wanted to clear up something first.
I read something a while ago that if you are planning to color and cut your hair, dying then cutting is best. I figured it has something to do with the ends of your hair getting damaged from the chemicals. Is that true?
Anyway I was planning to get my hair highlighted with two colors and then get a haircut to undo the damage done by a previous hairdresser. I hope everything goes ok since my hair is really thick...and black so the color never really gets absorbed. :(
