Another option is L'Oreal ColorSpa. It's a semi-permanent that covers grey and looks very natural -- tone-on-tone. It fades gradually -- no obvious roots. It's also very gentle on your hair. You should be able to go about 28 shampoos before you need to re-apply.

If you decide to try it, make sure you do a test strand first. By choosing the right colour and getting the timing right, you should be able to match your natural colour.
My user name is WAY too long. Just call me Juliana. :-)

Hello!

I would go visit a stylist for this one. Though your predicament is not all that difficult to fix, different types of grey hair (texture, shade, etc) accept color differently. A coloris will be able to find a color best suited to your hair type. Also, a stylist will know best how to blend the color for the best match.

If you can't afford an expensive place, try Costcutters (or any other chain salon) or a well- reputed beauty school in your area. If you ask for the salon manager, you'll get advice from a well-experienced colorist/stylist.

Best of Luck!

Hi guys,

I am 24 and my hair has been turning grey since I was 18, its only a small amount round the sides and I have never been 'too' fussed about it and certainly couldn't be doing with the hassle of dying my hair!

Is there a way to colour just the grey streaks round the sides to match the rest of my hair? My hair is medium/dark brown. I would rather something more permanent that will grow out and look subtle.

Thanks for any help!
Ben.
