It is very possible for your hair to grow. If it in your genes. Hair has a growth cycle, which is about 2-7 years. It boils down to this :hair grows for a determined amount of time and then it sheds. If your hair grows for three years before shedding, you can grow about 18 inches of hair in three years. This is because hair grows about a half an inch a month or 6 inches a year. This can be achieved if you are healthy, take vitamins and excercise. Also it is very important to take care of the ends of your hair so they won`t break off and you can see the growth.

Well, the big advantage is that if you don`t like it you can always cut it shorter again! Just because you grow it doesn`t mean you have to keep it long if you don`t like the way it looks. If your parents have no ojections, what do you have to lose by trying?

Hi! I have a bit of a problem. I would LOVE to have hair that`s down to my waist or even longer, but I don`t know if that`s possible because it`s kinky. I really want to try to grow it out, though. It`s already shoulder-length, and I`ll have plenty of time to let it grow since I`m 12. As for genetics...My great-great-grandmother could sit on her hair, if that counts for anything. LOL Anyway, if anyone could offer me some advice or encouragement or anything, I`d be very happy. :) Thanks!
