Hello from Glam Hair Extensions in Miami, Florida. I saw your posting and I had to reply. I do believe that hair extensions can be a viable option for you, but only if you are in remission. If you are, then you will be a good candidate, but remember that it is very import to pick a hair extension artist that can help you, not hurt you. With everything in life, the person doing the work is just as important as the work itself. Meaning, take the time to find the right person because if you don't, they definately can hurt you more than help you.

I have hair which is thinning in the front slightly possibly as a result of treatment received after a cancer op. I would like extensions as my hair does not reach any thickness at the bottom if I grow it much past my neck - the ends get thin and split and look straggly although I get a lot of new growth at the top. My hair is grey at the front and darker at the back and has been coloured. It is also fine. Will hair extensions damage it further. Any advice from anyone?
