Hair Extensions????

Ok I had them done. Let me first say that it's not the most fun thing. My head has been sore alittle and the first night I had trouble sleeping. I am going to stick it out because it's suppose to get better. They do look great though. I have had tons of people say how great they are. And as a reply to the one with the moldy hair. Your hairstylist is suppose to take them out every 6 weeks. Wash and deep condition your hair and then put them in to avoid build up.

I am having the sew/weave extensions done this friday. I have done a ton of research regarding hair extensions before having them done. I started in March looking for the right ones. I found that this seem to be the most undamaging if taken care of. By taking care of I mean you will have to have them maintenanced every 6 weeks at least. The weaves are sewn to small braids of your natural hair. Those braids will grow out so you will need have your stylist take out the weave and redo the braid. I also found that the hair loc system a non damaging extension. My stylist is currently taking classes to do this. My stylist wore her sewn in extensions for 13 years and there is no damage to her hair. The only bad thing I have heard that does make me a little nervous is that they are uncomfortable for a day or so after you have them time and that build up can happen near the braids. I have to at least try them once just to see. I don't like then I sell the hair on Ebay. I have very thick hair and it's shoulder length. My extensions are going to add at least 6 inches.
